Associate of Arts in General Studies

The General Studies program is designed for students who would like to benefit from two years of a broad, general college education (core curriculum). General studies students develop their ability to think critically and analytically, to write effectively, to work well with others, to solve problems creatively. Associate of Arts in General Studies with Level 1 Certification in Automation, Robotics, and Controls. 

The Automation, Robotics and Control specialization trains students to install, operate, maintain and troubleshoot equipment used in manufacturing environments. Core skills are electric circuits, semiconductor devices, and microprocessor controls. This program is executed in partnership with Samsung and Applied Materials, including mentorship, site visits, and job-shadowing opportunities.

Associate of Arts in General Studies with Level 1 Certification in Information Technology - Swift Coding

Apple app developers specialize in building software programs (apps) for iOS mobile devices such as iPhones and iPads, and macOS devices using Swift in Xcode. They may also test, debug, or update existing apps.

Associate of Arts in General Studies with Institutional Certification in Phlebotomy

Phlebotomy is the practice of obtaining blood for testing purposes. Graduates of this one-semester certificate program fill vital roles in hospitals, clinics, and research facilities, and often go on to complete ACC's Medical Laboratory Technology program.
